I finally did it! This is my first Parker and I can't wait to take her out! I had been eyeballing her at MW Reynold's in Colorado and decided to finally purchase her before someone else did. :rotf:

Good job....You will like that set up. I have two VH-16 guns that I really like. Kill like a 12 and carry like a 20...(-:

You will love it. I have a GH 16 O frame with damascus barrels. At just over 6 lbs, it is a great gun for all day carry. BTW, I enjoy your blog.

Tom Davis, a favorite upland writer of mine, did an article in a recent Field and Stream about bird hunting with the Wayment bros. That article itself was worth the cost of the subscription. I have followed their blog for a few years now, and would encourage all of you to check it out. And yes, some more pics and info about your new Parker--does it have steel or Damascus barrels?

We had fun with Tom Davis in Idaho. This year Tom and I are hunting in Kansas for bobwhites and scalies, and I'm gonna take my new Parker. Tom has a very nice A H Fox that's over 100 yrs old that he totes. My new Parker has 28" Damascus barrels. Speaking of Tom Davis he wrote a really nice tribute to his father and setters today in the Sporting Classics Daily. Here's the link:
