Wanted to take a moment and say how much I am enjoying searching the
Forum and digesting the great volumes of information found here on the
greatest American double gun ever made, in my opinion. Absolutely love the
Parker Pages, Parker Identification, Technical Information, Parker FAQ's, Links,
and the Discussion Forum! I currently do not own a Parker but am hopeful that
will change in the near future.
A wonderful site and am thankful for all the great information to be found here!

Bobby,
I see you are from North Carolina. There is a wonderful double gun shoot that many here will be attending in late April at the Deep River shooting grounds in Sanford. If you get a chance stop by the PGCA tent and say hello.

Thank you for the kind invitation Double Play!
I will mark my calendar. Sanford is only about
an hour and half drive.

Thank you for the compliments you pay to our organization.
How has a copy(s) of Parker Pages come into your hands?

You're most welcome Dean.
I have a real passion for Parker guns and
have quickly come to realize this is the best, by far,
place to learn all I can about them.
As to the Parker Pages, I've not seen a copy and only
meant I enjoyed reading about what they constitute.
That was remedied a couple minutes ago as I sent via
Paypal $40.00 for a subscription.
Can't wait to receive my first issue!

Bobby,
Now that you are a member when you join us at Deep River you can try out to shoot for team Parker in the 12th annual Parker/Smith Challenge Cup. If you don't have a gun by then don't worry you can shoot one of mine.

Thanks again Larry!
I would be so nervous shooting under competitive conditions
I probably couldn't hit the side of a barn!!

Bobby;
Tell us what you are looking for as far as a Parker is concerned and maybe someone on this forum could help you. If you can make the Deep river event you are welcome to shoot any one of the 7 or 8 Parkers I will be bringing. If you can make it on Thurs. check out the "2015 Spring Southern at Drake Landing" thread on the General Parker discussion forum. A really informal shoot with plenty of Parkers to choose from. Hope to see you there.

My budget is limited Double Lab.
I'm going to sell a couple of my bamboo fly rods for some extra dough.
I would like to find a hammerless 20 or 16 gauge with 26" or 28" barrels
in good to very good condition. Most probably a VH grade.
Unless someone takes pity on me and sells me a DHE for 4 grand!!

Bobby,
I have bought VH 20's and 16's for well under 4k. I think for that money you should be able to find a very nice "first Parker".
