While talking to a fellow who had several Parker's for sale at a gun show he told me he had a few more, nicer Parker's at his home. He said he has a high condition Trojan with two sets of barrels, both numbered to the gun. Anybody ever come across a Trojan two barrel set?

Mike, I owned a Trojan 16 two barrel set quite a few years ago. I sold it to a friend before the PGCA was formed so I never got any info on it. It was a numbers matching set. Wish I still had it.

A two barrel Trojan would be a real prize, especially if the second barrel set letters, either as original equipment or an entry in a repair book.

Thank you gentlemen for your reply. Assuming the gun is in good condition what would be a range of value?

Read Bob K's post and you will understand. What gauge and serial number is the gun you are looking at? A matching two barrel set needs a letter.

I could personally see a two barreled Trojan as being a gun that maybe had the second barrel set fitted after the fact by being sent back to the factory.
Given that Trojans were not usually sold by special order and most were sold from inventory as already built guns. Not that rate special orders on Trojans don't exist, but I would think that a return scenario would be more likely.

I haven't seen the gun yet but the owner claims both barrels are numbered to the gun and one set appears unused. It's a 12 gauge (both barrels) but I don't know the serial number.

Gary what would you estimate the value to be on this gun. I know it's sight unseen but just a ball park.
