Yeah, OK, it's Saturday, but I took these last night.
I just love the setter on the 1880 Grade 3 Lifter. For comparison, I also took a picture of a Grade 3 Hammerless setter, from 50 years into the future

I like those fiddleheads, especially the right side. They almost look three dimensional.

30" 12 gauge, 1 frame. I didn't realize TL hammers were so different from Lifter hammers. Do later. check hook lifters have the TL style hammer, or the ones like those on the early lifters?

OK now were getting somewhere. Typically the Lavarack setters have the 9:00 straight out the back tails.
The second photo is exactly what Im talking about at the more 10:30 twards hi noon. when do you think this transition started??
the first photo is a beautiful engraving any licencing fees if I use the image of the dog??

Have a simiilar vintage 16ga DH that had to have been engraved by the same guy who engraved this gun.
