I just got my parker given to me by my dad. it was my grandfathers who passed away when I was when I was a little boy. then it was left to my mom,who passed away very young, so my dad nor I know very much about it. I just joined the PGCA today and have already sent in my research form.
I'm very excited to find out the history about it. All I know is that he was an avid hunter in the 30s and 40s and used and most likely purchased it in Connecticut.
Its a 1926 12guage with a Vulcan steel barrel, its tarnished, and needs a good cleaning. What's the best way to clean it?

Welcome Brian. You've come to the right place. Before you get started "cleaning" Gramps VH Parker, do some searching on the forum for great advice. Best not to run before you walk.

You'll find lots of good advice here; sometimes the best advice is to do nothing at all. Posting photos will get you more responses. It's very cool that you have your grandfather's gun!
