I bought this printing plate on line and was the only bidder, so for about $8 I now have a new dust collector for the shelf. I cant decipher the name
on the barrel. I reversed the second image to try to read the name but I cant make it all out.
I think I can make out L Brancy???ert Bruxlles I was hoping that someone would recognize the name.
The quality of the work and detail is amazing, it is only about 2 1/2" high
by 7" long, and all hand carved from wood.
I would love to identify the maker of the gun, and any input would be appreciated.
Thanks
Gary

Printing plates are great. Last years PGCA Silent had one in it of a high grade hammerless.

I saw that auction and intended to outbid you but got busy and forgot about it until it was too late. I picked up an LC Smith printing plate last year. Pretty cool, and you are correct - detail on them is amazing.

Thank you all for your input, Oh Osthaus thank you very much for the link and identifying the maker for me ! And Jawjadawg thank you for not bidding! I did not realize the amount of detail in it and would not have bid any higher lol.
