Ithaca NID 16 ga with suspect barrels. I was curious if you can find out the original length by ser. No. As you can with Parker. Thanks Thomas

Not readily. Walter Snyder has some records and has provided information to people, but it sounds like Walter is in the process of transferring his archive to Cody.

Walter,
NID's should have the chokes stamped on the front of the barrel flats (0-1-2-3-4). If they don't match the current constriction then there is a problem.

I took a couple photo's of gun but returned it to my friend and passed on buying it. Interesting butt plate and I was concerned it had cut barrels but could be wrong. The photo of the end of the barrels are with the bottom rib on top and you can see the bead reflecting off the table top. Thomas

Nice gun. Bore micrometer $90.51 at Brownells. It will last a lifetime.

Nice gun. It makes you wonder why someone would put a Parker butt plate on it. If only it could talk ...

Bill: I would then need the intellectual capabilities to operate and read the findings.

Mike: My thoughts exactly. He probably always wanted a Parker. Thomas

Gun crank went through his junk and found a plate that fit.....at least he did not file parker bro's off and scratch Ithica on it. (-: SXS ohio
