can anyone explain the difference in frames. I own one parker and have only seen a few others. I did not know there was a diference in frames till i joined this club

The exact dimensions of all Parker frames are listed in The Parker Story in chart form. Some numbered frames have the same firing pin separation, but differ in other dimensions. Some of the listed dimensions in the chart will help to identify a frame or forend as a certain size if they are separated from the barrels, which are the only part with a frame size marking. The FAQ #21 is only a general list, there being a number of exceptions that are not listed.
