I have seen a number of Parkers "Cast Off" for right handers. Have there been any made with "Cast On" for the Lefties?
Thanks, Steve Kleist Ely, MN

Steve,
I don't know if it came from the factory cast-on or not, but I own a GH-12ga Damascus gun that has about 1/4" cast-on. I knew it when I bought the gun and feared the worse being a right handed shooter. To my amasement I shoot it lights out, go figure.
The PGCA letter doesn't mention the cast-on, so who knows for sure how it ended up that way.

There is one available on one of the better known sites. I will see if I can find it tomorrow and advise.

Steve,
I recently purchased a 16ga that was a "special order" for a left handed shooter. The gun was made with the double triggers and chokes set up for a lefty and the stock has a slight left hand cast. I haven't had a chance to research the gun to see how it was ordered(serial#234046). It's the first gun that I've owned made for a lefty! You gotta love the way those auto-loaders eject the shells across your right arm!

It sounds like those left handed Parkers are rare. My wife shoots left handed, and she shoots my Parkers from time to time quite well. I was just thinking out loud.....
Again thanks, Steve Kleist Ely, MN

Steve, I have a DHE 16 on an O frame that is definitely cast on but I have shot it well for several years and never even noticed the cast. Not sure what that says for my shooting.

My 16g O frame DHE is cast on. The letter does not mention it but we know the history of the gun from new and know the orignal owner was a lefty. I was offered the gun Mr. Nahra refers to some time ago here in PA (if it is the one that ended up at Barnetts). A nice gun... If I recall it letters as a true sinister gun.
