The serial number of the VH I referred to in an earlier posting is: 94592- 30" Vulcan Steel barrels : uncut, std. double triggers, extractors and the Dog Head black buttplate with the top spur inletted- all screws are free of marring, no cracks in either the buttstock or the splinter forearm- 6 Briley Thin-Wall style chokes tubes installed and no slots, they install and remove easily with a rubber collet type plug wrench--gun shoots right to POA with any or all of the tubes, regardless of which barrel is fired first--
The other Parker that this gentleman has, and I have also shot is a 12 DHE serial number 135858- 30" Titanic Steel Barrels, double triggers, selective automatic ejection, splinter forearm, std. grip buttstock with the steel rimmed engraved buttplate, barrels uncut and both are full choke- and again, pattern to POA and a very tight pattern on paper-- This Parker was refinished about 20 years ago by the Del Grego firm, and the owner has the paperwork to verify this, which will come with the gun, if and when it is sold.
I also shot his AH Fox A grade 12- 30" Chromox Steel barrels choked modified and full, std. pistol grip stock, splinter forearm, double triggers, selective automatic ejectors, standard black buttplate-- shot to POA, as did both the Parkers, but the safety is very tight and difficult to move forward to the Off-Sale or Fire mode, and the trigger pulls seemed a bit heavier than those of either Parker- the ejector springs are quite snappy- when I opened the gun after firing, they kicked out the empties somewhat further than did the DHE model Parker gun- not a major issue.. The serial number of this Fox gun is: 34362
