This was before he made the purchase. I knew about the gun and told my friend Bruce that I thought it was an acceptable purchase. It was.

Bill: Do you know if Herschel is still living? The last that I heard was that he was in ill health. I was in his shop in Terrel Texas a number of years ago and saw a VH that on the top rib was engraved "Made For Jim Corbett"
