Hi guys,
I just wanted to get on here and let y'all know that Gary is in the hospital. He was taking his vitamins with cold water friday night and one or more got stuck in his throat. This set off a panic attack which set off a~fib in his heart. They are doing a stress test in the morning and if they find no problems, he will be home. I won't know the results of the stress test until sometime tomorrow afternoon, but I will update this as soon as I can : ) Thanks Megan

Very sorry to hear about this on top of the other challenges. Panic attacks are horrible things. Best wishes to you both and thank you for the heads up Megan that was very thoughtful of you to let us know.

Alright, I will fill you in on my stay at the local hospital, First of all I am fine, Heart is great, The problem was esophageal spasms, and the kicked in by anxiety, When I got to the hospital Heart was racing 100+ beats per, gave me some pills got it down and the blood pressure down from 200, got some blood pressure meds and some stuff for anxiety, did dress test with contrast passed it with flying colors, so long story short the PGCA will have to put up with me for a long time I hope Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers, Gary

Gary, as one A-Fibber to another, I'm glad you are doing fine. I think your A-Fib and mine are a different type but stress and anxiety are triggers. Chill out but watch the alcohol and any type of medication. Hope to see you at the Southern!

You get any doctor outside of the office and in a relaxed setting and he or she will tell you alcohol is good for you, in moderation. That is what I have found at least.
Glad to hear Gary is out of the hospital and doing better

Gary, glad to hear all is well. I have been thru the A-Fib thing as well. Mine was caused by losing my son in an auto accident, back in 09.
I think it is the definition of a broken heart.
Take care of yourself, diet exercise, stress control, etc. Keep family close, hunting dogs are great therapy. Oh, and fine guns and fellowship. My German Shorthairs are trying to teach me to live for the moment. I think they may be onto something.

Glad to here from you and that you are doing well. See you in a few weeks.
Take a ride in a corvette, that will help out on anxiety.
