Hello all,
I inherited a double barrel Parker shotgun several years ago. When I first got it, I did some cursory research on the Parker name but didn't go too far with it. Recently I decided to look into it again and found this site. After reading many threads here and elsewhere for the last two days, I'm slowly coming to the conclusion that this gun may be a cheap knock off. There isn't a serial number on the flat, only a stamp that reads "TD" and the letter "E" with a star above it (there is also an arrow looking symbol below the "E", seen in pic). Stamped on the barrel there is an oval with the letters E, L, G inside of it. The E is above the L & G which is side by side. Also the E with the star above it is stamped here again with the arrow looking symbol. I'll quit rambling and post some pics below. If anyone has any info on this gun I would greatly appreciate it!

Sam, I must agree with your assessment, unfortunately.

Thanks Dean. That's what I figured.

Sam, Unforunately Dean has hit the nail on the head.As an inherited gun I would just hang on to it in memory of my family member.

Sam: What you have is a Belgian "Knock Off" of a Parker. Hang it on the wall or sell it to Cracker Barrel.

Best Regards, George
