I took a visit to my brothers house tonight ,and noticed an old piano stool he had picked up at a yard sale this past summer ...we were having a chat and I said ,"Y'know Tommy ,Parker made piano stools once upon a time " as I thumbed the old thing over low and behold it was marked Chas .Parker Meridian Connecticut !!! I couldn't pry it from him for my own unfortunately ,but out of curiosity is there any value in these?

they show up on the auction site fairly often
they normally sell for low three digits
there are 14 out there now, some with high backs

Yeah, not all that uncommon on eBay.
I have not yet come accross one at a sale or antique shop in person, but I always turn them over and check.

What about Parker vises? I see them on ebay, some look pretty nice, don't know what sizes/types are most desirable.

The Winter 2013 issue of Parker Pages has a nice article by Edgar Spencer on Parker vises. He is very informative as his family's foundry in Connecticut did lots of work for the Charles Parker Co.
