This is a very early DH. Dogs on both sides are looking to the rear. I have never seen another Parker with rear facing dogs on any grade. If you have one please post it.

George, that is a cool DH. The dog scene seems much finer than what I see on later DH's. I don't recall seeing one with a mountain scene before.

George, There was an early DH with rear facing dogs on Gunsamerica a while back but it sold.

George,
The dog on this 12x32" C grade is also facing back but looking forward.

That has got to be one of the best C grades out there. Look at that fence and the detail:shock:

How do ya'll take those clear close photos? Beautiful Parkers!!!

Harry, You take 1000s of photos and at the exact time that the Moon alines with Mars you get one good one!

Ray, You don't know how correct you are. I have several digital cameras and I cannot get that detail no matter how much light or dark I put on the object. Some of the feedback I get from auction sites when I sell a firearm is "better then shown". That probably cost $$$$. Those photos are sooo gooood!

Harry. My camera is actually a Sony pocket camera that cost about $250. It is model wx-300. It has what Sony calls a G-lens. I don't know what that is other than it is some type of upgraded lens. Thus the price of $250 instead of $150 or so.

I have some winged critter duck like creatures on mine. That type of duck must have been hunted out years ago because I've never seen one.

Bill
It is better than the "flying turnip" of which a flock is seen on the floor plate of many, too many, D grades!!

Now David nothing says Parker like a flock of flying turnips:rotf: It's the big game scenes on the floorplats that I don't understand. Why put a stag on a shotgun?, it's akin to haveing a Grouse on a Westly Richards 450/400 double rifle:shock:
