I was in my LGS on Sat and they had a Parker single barrel trap gun SC grade.
It dates 1917. Screws are all messed up, wood is nice just needs cleaning, bore is nice. Locks up tight with 32" barrel.
BUT, whoever had it, tapped the end of the barrel and screwed in an extended choke!
Is there anyway to save the barrel? I guess cutting 2" off gets rid of the screw in choke but then how much of the original choke is in the barrel?
And I don't like the idea of cutting the barrel.
ANyway to save this gun?
thanks,
Neil
