Wish I could help, you cant add attachments? You may have to load something you dont have. Look on top of your screen and see if it says anything.

ok... I was just going to post pics sent to me. But already done.
Serialization book lists it as a Acme Steel 32" barreled grade 5 with capped grip and ejectors.
Mark, you said you had questions about the gun?

Is it the shadows or the poor lighting... the floor plate engraving looks different from what I've seen.

And the side scene. Looks like neavier lines are filled in with something to make it look very dark.

That's quite a BHE, I like it because it's very unique. Are you happy with it? I'm not one for sending Parkers out for restoration, but I think this one deserves a full overhaul.

The first thing that gun makes me think of is the A grade Sam Ogle had for sale a few years back. The engraving was very similar, at least in the game scenes.

Look how close the SN's are too. I still kick myself for not buying this gun.

Mark, you said you had questions about the gun?
The big question is should it be sent out to be redone
And value there after?
I am curious about value after it is restored?
Who would be the one to do it to capture the most value after
Thanks for the offer to help get pictures up
Nice that people on here are so ready to help
Thanks Mark

Mark, it is definitely an interesting gun. Have you sent for a letter about it yet? I am curious if information is available about who placed the original order for it. Were you able to decipher the "stenciled?" address? on the right side of the stock and have you found a name that goes with the initials on the grip cap? Thanks you for sharing the pictures and other information with us. Fred.

Mark, when I looked at it I couldn't really make it out either, but it did look almost like Upperville, Virginia. The lettering engraved on the cap was very well done, but I had on my dark driving glasses, and with my short arms just couldn't quite hold it far enough away.... Thanks again, Fred.

The dealer I got it from was from Virginia so that would seem to be real
The one thing I like about old items is history
Wouldnt it be something to be able to know all the history of the Guns we have .......

Ok I have the Parker Letter on this gun
1st off big thanks to this association for this service
Serial number 135771
Ordered by Dunlap Hardware of Macon GA and "tagged to Thomas Hardeman"
On March 3 1906
Shipped on June 4th 1906
Built as a BH hamerless 12
Acme steel barrels 32"
Special instructions were RH 200 and left hand 275 pellets and Lyman sights
No safety and engraved shield T.H.
The price was 200.00 plus 25.00 for ejectors and 1.00 for the lyman sights
The gun was returned 12/11/1916 by Thomas Hardeman of Macon GA to repair ejectors, make back trigger pull same, and replace top lever (There was no charge)
Interesting stuff
Could anyone explain the RH 200 and LH 275 pellets part?
