Many of us use our cherished Repros for hunting. Let's see pics of your guns with game taken with them.

I'll start it off with a 28-ga. DHE, 26" bbls., IC/M, DT, SG and SPL with a set of 28/.410 Chambermates aboard . . . 5 1/2 lbs. of pure joy!

One of my favorite Repro's is actually a combination of my wife, Kathy's, 28 ga. Repro's Q1/Q2 barrels and BTFE on my double trigger, English stock 28 ga. Repro. I use the IMP/MOD barrels later in the season when the birds normally flush a bit farther out.

These were taken with the Q1/Q2 barrels.

Guard bird...gunned with the 16 barrels in place...Potter co. PA. 2010 This gun was bought from Ivory Beads, Two barrel set 20/16 both 28" Q1/Q2 I only know of a couple of these combo's that exist...(-:

Repro's are great guns and many times barrels will swap from frame to frame. As we all know double trigger 12 ga. guns with 28" barrels are very scarce and hard to find. I own two sets DT-PG-SF Last year on gun broker I found a repro 12 listed cheap, I always look at the pictures to see if the gun has DT. No DT but it was a factory sporting clays classic....after confirming what is was I bought it...(-: Turns out them barrels snap right onto my DT frame with its BTF or the SF from my frame...sweet Later on a steel shot showed up same deal SST cheap as seller did not know it was a SS gun. Them barrels snap right on too with either for end. What a great set this is! I have the cases and frames stored from the two SST guns and keep the barrels handy in my safe.

Parker repro 16ga. 28" IC/F This is a set of CSMC galazan barrels from Merkel. I like this set for Kansas roosters....its a far-killer. The left barrel is factory choked at .031 or X-full I also have a set of PR factory Kreighoff choked M/F but they are only .026 in the left barrel. SXS ohio

I'm not a camera guy so I have very few photos but here are a few from last year. Our grouse season does not open for another week so I'll have to wait for more current photos, I hope.

The repro is a 20 ga., DT, PG, SF and at 6.75 pounds is heavy for most of you guys but it suits me just fine. I've put about 500 rounds through her this fall in prep for the season and it hits what I point it at. The dogs, me, and the Parker are ready!

6lbs-8oz is the norm for 20ga. repro PG- 26". some English stocked guns are at 6lbs-6oz., some 28" guns come in at 6lbs-10oz or if they have BTF ....these are the norm but can vary??? That's why I really like the repro 16 guns they come in at 6lbs-4oz with 28" barrels and PG stock perfect! SXS ohio

I know I am not normal. Believe me, many people have told me so. It must have had some effect on my selection when purchasing my repros. I have two, both 20's. The one pictured earlier in this thread does indeed weigh 6-12 but it does not feel like it. One serious well heeled grouse hunter friend has some very expensive English guns. I let him shoot my Parker on a round of 5-stand once. Immediatly thereafter he offered to buy it. Of course it is not for sale so he went out and bought one himself of the same configuration. Not the same dynamics as mine. He was so disgusted he offered to trade me his plus an insane amount of money. Nope not for sale. They are not all built the same.

I also have a 28 inch barreled gun, PG, DT, BFE. It weighs 6-15. With the snap caps in it just ticks the 7 pound mark. So, again I must have picked an abnormal gun. It is just a bit muzzle heavy but I bought it to shoot sporting clays and for that it is ideal.

Yep, I'm not normal and neither are my Parkers and I am just fine with that. Now, if only I could find an abnormal 12 ga!

She really was annoyed posing for the duck picture, although she does retrieve them. The birds in the second picture are much more to her liking, although of course, that's not a Parker Repro.

Her name is Dot, although we call her Dottie for short (:p), or Dorothy when she acts particularly human (which is often). What are your "boys'" names?

Joe, my older Brittany's name is usually Reilly, but he has recently assumed another identity in preparation for the 31st.

Meanwhile my younger Brittany Parker has been busy working on being steady to wing and shot. He isn't quite there yet:

Made my first trip over to camp to hunt. I used my trusty repro 16 Q1/Q2. 1st is my doodle, 2nd is my grouse, 3rd is my gun and our two grouse for the day. We moved about 15 birds 5 miles in and 5 miles out. Deer hunters had used our logging trail about the same time and moved the birds away from the trial or we would have had better sets...)-:

Way to go Kenny. Keep those repros working. They won't look new when we get done with them but, boy, will they have tales (tails) to tell.

I will be headed back to potter at 5AM Thursday morning and hunt three days again....My 2nd gun this trip is a PHE 16 26" choked .005 and .024 weight is 6lbs-6oz no-1 frame. Weather report is poor...rain and wind.....hope we get a break with some sun. We may look for some pheasants if it gets real crappy out.
