Here are a few pictures of a 8 gauge DH displayed at the Vintage Cup last weekend. What cool gun in my opinion, the gun had not been priced yet. Straight grip and steel barrels.

thanks Craig, any specs?
barrel length, frame size?

It was a 6 frame as I recall, 34" barrel length. For a avid waterfowler like me it was a real thrill to shoulder it and swing it on a fat drake black duck!! I had to be careful placing it back on the table next to a 28ga AAHE priced at $350,000.

What a gun. Maybe Craig would PM me about the owner's name and I'll put up a "For Sale" sign in front of my house.

It is so beautifully proportioned you can not even tell it is a 8 gauge until you look at the stock.

I went over to pick up the gun so many times I must have worn off half the remaining CC!!! Bill believe me the thought of selling my house entered my mind!! That gun would be my holy grail but pictures will have to do, darn!

Don't let Mills or Charlie see these pictures. Charlie would probable sell his farm.

How rare are the 8's with fluid steel barrels ?

Barnett doesn't show it on his website yet !
He does however have a rather intresting Dickson 4 gauge punt gun on there !

The answer to your question is in TPS. There are very few missing stock books in the eight gauge period.

The fund is not that high yet. Actually, I really want a used but not abused G or E grade.

Let us know when the price is published. Mills may get his wish. Ps and Gs may come on the market in quantity.

I am not sure there has been a price established on that gun, I think it maybe part of a collection, not sure just what I heard.

I was told that the consignor and the dealer had not yet come to terms, re: valuation and selling price. As soon as they do come to terms the guns will be priced. Based on who I saw handling the gun, I it will ever make it to the web site in my opinion----I believe it already spoken for. But we can dream!!
