I use Gunbroker for most of my sales but collector ammo does not seem to sell all that well on that website .

Why won't you become a PGCA member? You can sell what you got here in the member's only "for sale" section.

I just read the terms for selling through Ward's .

We will not do buisness . I prefer something more like Gunbroker where I don't need to send to the auction house etc etc .

Quite frankly I'm not big on selling on a forum with a set price . Doing it that way you NEVER get more then you start it and generally no one cares to pay what you were asking in the first place . Or atleast thats been my experience on other forums .

Hi Craig -

I too, am curious why you haven't become a PGCA Member. You have made 313 posts, have thanked 44 other posters and have been thanked 46 times by others. Membership is only $40 and the benefits are certainly worth every bit of that and more. Please join the PGCA and support the organization you use so freely and take an active part in when you communicate almost daily with other PGCA Members here on the forum.

It's all relative isn't it !

Based on the comment "you use so freely" I will take that as meaning "pay or get out".

No... I didn't say that or mean that. I am only urging you and others who frequent this forum, to become a member and reap the many other benefits you're missing out on.

What's wrong with ebay? Tons of old shells on there. You have to state that the shells are not included, You have to advertise your product as a "box", but the buyers know that you will ship the shells if you picture them. Of course, picturing ammunition may not be allowed any more, I don't keep up that well.

We sold done thermal imaging optics on Ebay . My god they rape you on fees from using their site then again when they force you to use their Paypal company for the financial part of the transaction ! I think on Gunbroker now a $1000 sale costs us about $30-35 in fees on Espray the same thing would most likely be about $100 when you figure in Paypal .

I usually charge folks a flat rate of 10% when I sell for them on Gunbroker . So if you brought me a whatever and wanted to get $1000 I would list it at $1135 . You'd get yours I'd get mine and GB would get theirs .

Craig: One of the up sides besides the Parker Pages is you get to purchase said items and there has been some great buys on here which you never see not being a member. Thomas

Craig, I buy old shells very often, the beauty of selling on this site is it only cost 40 bucks for a whole year you could sell more than a couple hundred dollars worth in a year, I have bought many things and sold many on our members site, take it from an old Parker guy it's the best 40 bucks you can spend! gary

You could look at it that the $40 PGCA membership helps support this site. One doesn't have to join to participate but... :)
