Came across this from in some old things left behind by relatives
I'm not usre what this actually is
best i can tell is that's its a 1903 production date
12 ga
30" barrels
triggers, safety, seem to function
I would love to restore, but if it can even be done,
how much do I stick in it and then how much is it worth
might best be a wall hanger unfortunately
thank you in advance for any help you can share

The barrels are scrap. They could be sleeved however. The rest of the gun (a VH?) has been buffed and blued. There is serious rust. The stock is a replacement with trap dimensions. Depending on how much family attachment you have to the gun, it is either (1) a very expensive resto or (2) a parts gun.
Sorry for so much bad news...

Parts gun.....
I agree or if it is a family gun then wall hanger. You could buy two VHE's for the cost to restore (if possible) your gun.

Yes,
The gun should be considered a parts gun. The barrels are blown out. The stock is not original and poorly crafted. And the metal parts have all been polished/blued.
As others have said, any cost to put it back together would far exeed the value in the end result. If the barrels were not blown out, it could be a completely different story.

Thank you for the replies.
Sadly, I was thinking the same thing
