It's just plain too hot here in Fairbanks at almost 80deg so I was forced to seek refuge in cooler places for shooting some clays. This is my favorite spot. I've already posted this spot but it was particularly nice up there at 4000ft today. The third pic is from two yrs ago. What a place to shoot this is.

Who took the pic? Have a buddy with you? Nice. You and the Canuks often send us a little help; frost on the roof night before last. Messes with the minds of the GW zelots.

I almost always take a tripod with me. I didn't take it this time but did two yrs ago..... I just have to haul azz back to the thrower once I trip the timer..... I have a lot of pictures of my back with my legs flailing and arms pumping trying to make it...

You should post some of those photos. The center picture is really something.

Thanks. The second one came out better than I expected. It's two telephoto pics taken from quite a distance stitched together. It came out nicely foreshortened.

Richard;
Wow! What a place. If you ever need a trap boy or photographer just let me know. It's always nicer to shoot with someone rather than alone.:)

I can just imagine some Caribou or Sheep hunter coming across the broken targets and thinking who would shoot clay target way up here???

It will happen Rich. That's a very popular caribou spot in the fall

I'll bet you don't get any complaints form the neighbors. Gerald

Just think years from now you will have some arciologist scraching his head in wonder.

Nice taildragger!! Is it a Cub (Super?), Taylorcraft, Champ, Aronca or what? It looks like the tips were squared off. At any rate it looks cool and a whole lot of fun to fly!
