The PGCA will have a display booth at the upcoming NRA Annual Meeting and Show in Houston, TX (George R. Brown Convention Center) on May 3-5, 2013. The PGCA display booth will be in the Collectors Section booth number 2058. Charles Herzog, Bruce Day, Todd Kaltenbach, Ed Morgan, Dick Dow and myself will be providing some Parker Guns from our collections to display and discuss with attendees. Additionally, the 2013 Raffle Gun will be on display and tickets will be available for sale. If you will be attending the show, please feel free to stop by the booth to talk Parker Guns.

I stopped by the PGCA booth today in Houston at the NRA Annual meeting and very much enjoyed meeting and visiting with Bruce, Todd, Charles and Dick. They have a wonderful display of Parkers for your viewing pleasure!
Thanks for sharing these treasures.

44 Parkers on display from A's to V's, 10's to 410's, lifters to hammerless.
Did very well on raffle ticket sales again. These are general photos, more detailed photos of some of them will be in the Parker Pages. Saw many acquaintances, made some new ones. Steady stream of people through the booth. Many, many have Parkers, but there were very few PGCA members that came.

Several of us drove down from 800 miles away to sell tickets and haul guns. Dick flew in from SoCal to help. Todd and Tom live locally and showed their significant collections.

The Repro was for the Skeuse's visit.

It was clear that the PGCA still has only a minor percentage of Parker owners as members, and one such fellow we knew that visited with us has over 200 Parkers including A-1 Specials.

Over the years I think Charlie and Bruce along with help from a few others have put together some of the best displays one could hope to see. Thanks guys for representing the Parker Gun and the PGCA in such a fine fashion.

Nice work gentlemen. I had evry intention of being there on Saturday but somehow I came down with a cold. My wife was actualy upset that we wern't going. I really wanted to meet some of you in person but thought it better to keep my germs to myself. Hopefully we can meet soon. I also hope that Texas treated you well. Thanks again.

While we appreciate the many thanks, I want to make it clear that we could not have done it without Tom Wooden, who was the local organizer and brought his beautiful and rare Parkers, and Todd Kaltenbach, who was there every minute and brought his outstanding collection of lifter action Parkers including a very early T latch. And Ed Morgan as usual is the most effective, most low keyed salesman I have ever seen. At NRA and Pheasant Fest, we account for almost 50% of raffle ticket sales and these are major fundraisers for the PGCA. Dr Dick Dow flew in from Cal because he knew we needed help and he worked the crowd to raise interest in Parkers.

Its obvious that Charlie, Bruce, and Ed have done this before because they were very organized, had the gun stands as well as the knowhow to set up a display that got numerous compliments. Tom and I just did some of the grunt work. I hope the membership appreciates how much effort and time Bruce, Charlie, Ed, and Dick put into these shows. I was 20-30 minutes away from the show, they all came from out of state! Thanks guys, it was a lot of fun. Below is a link to a story the Houston Chronicle ran today.

Move over Justin Bieber.

One of our own being interviewed for NRA television and video. They like us. Old Parkers were way more PC than the virtual shooting gallery set-up where a deer ran across a field and groups of AR shooters emptied their laser magazines on it.
