Default Catskills, NY hunting

Didn't flush much at first in the Catskills but finally found some birds, used a 28 repro that has been amazing the last 2 plus years.

No dog last few days. I was hunting with my hunting partner of 50 years ,George. Other times I hunt with 2 other guys that do have dogs ,one is a member here. I have hunted grouse with and without a dog, they both have advantages and disadvantages
