Did Parker ever use the "Old Reliable" nick name in advertising

seems that would post date the manufacture of the guns

My guess is someone did a little editing work and made it - maybe for sale

easy enough to do with just a few minutes of spare time

Yes Rick, Parker Brothers did in fact use “The Old Reliable” and/or “Old Reliable” in their advertising. There are several instances where we have seen it.

David, the hyperlink you provided to illustrate an “alternative” is in fact an original or a copy of an original Parker Brothers advertisement.

The card was just inside of a parker brochure that I had in my small pile of catalogs and paperwork. It was wrapped in tissue paper and had someones return address sticker on it. Whatever it is, I am sure that it is a modern reproduction or manufacture. I was just wondering a reproduction of what? Something legitimate, or something made up. The material is heavy card-stock. Much like the case label reproductions are.
