need help on 10ga parker

I do not have any information directly as to who mine was originally owned by, My letter just states it was sold to Meacham in St. Louis as part of a consecutive 8 gun order. But 12 years after it was sold, it was returned for service by a Gentleman in upstate NY who was the Chief Musician and Band leader for the 9th infantry division. His name as Adam Merz. and his initials are on the stock shield of the gun.
