Back when I first started on the PGCA, I bought a set of twist bbls and fore end on eBay. David bought the whole backend on GB. He missed the eBay auction and asked me what I wanted for the bbls etc. I said you can have them for what I paid and he thanked me profusely. A really fine gentleman. He will be missed.

Had the chance to hunt with David a couple of times on my lease in Garwood. A gentleman that will be missed. I just talked to a young man yesterday that works for the ranch realtor David was with and he told me of David's passing.

I just learned of David’s passing. David and I were close for a long time. In my grief I will share a photo today.

David’s daughter Amanda told me that David wanted me to have his Orvis shooting vest and that she would put it in the mail to me…
It arrived this morning, just in time for my birthday tomorrow, and it is a fine and supple leather vest. I will wear it to shooting events and PGCA events that I attend and I’ll remember David fondly when I do  .
