Yep.... I would.

She'll be fine on an old blanket and some old towels.... she'll be lickin' herself all day and won't leave much of a mess.

Sophie's wagging her tail so I guess that means we'll attend. Besides bringing along a 20 ga Parker I wish to sell, is there anything else I can bring? Food stuff?

By the way, what events are we shooting? Trap? Skeet? Five stand? All?

Ah hem. Lemme see. As Sophie's agent, I assume I am entitled to a substantial discount on the gun

I've been going through some pictures and getting ready for the onslaught of contributions for Parker Pages and I came across a folder with pics of the 2011 New Year's Day shoot.

Austin came down that day... There were a bunch of Parkers and two or three 'off brands' as well.
These New Year's Day shoots are each just a bit different from past ones and that's what makes them so much darn fun!!

That was the first time I met Austin. We were shooting skeet and he was using his hammer gun. He called for a double on station eight -- low house and high. He shot low gun with the buttstock next to the hip, called pull, cocked both hammers before bringing it to his shoulder and dusted both birds. I was like OMG!!

This is my one of my favorites. Bob Weeman touching one off on the big five frame. I think this was the year after when it was in the 70's and you could hear the exhaust of Harleys riding by.

See you all in a few days.
