Default Refurbish or not

My first post. I need your advise. I have a c grade Parker double that needs the wood redone and could use a re bluing job as well. Do you think this will lower it's value as it wouldn't be "original" any longer?

Post photos and serial numbers and be detailed about it. Nobody will give you a final value but SHOULD it be a rare configuration you happen to have I am sure someone here will let you know about it. The devil is in the details of the GAUGE, barrel length, any special configuration, provenance...etc. I am far from an expert here but the first thing I would personally do is join this organization and get a research letter if it's available before touching the gun.

Default Refurbish or not part two

More information on my new Parker. Should have included this on my first post. SN 108216. 12 Ga., Hammerless, ejectors 30" BBLS. There isn't anything special about it that I know about. Thanks for the replies to my first post. I appreciate your help.
