I have the same issue sometimes with photos when posting them from my iphone. But never from my computer.

With my IPhone I go to Pictures-Select a picture- Edit- Go to menu on the Left side down and select ( icon of box with arrows) at top left an icon shows rotation tap until picture is upright, then save. Then post as normal.
