I think next auction I’ll set my sights on a really nice 12 or 16 gauge so at least I come home with something. |

Swing and a miss on 2 bids. I was close as the next highest bidder won both. However, who knows how high that next highest bidder would have gone. PS. I found out later I had lost. Getting into a bidding war seldom works out imo.

I thought there were some deals in this auction. Unfortunately I wasn’t going to be able to follow along so I had to pre-load my bids on my items of interest. Turns out, the deals were not on my items. I’m sure Josh and company will pull together another nice round of Parker’s for us to get jealous over in September. I agree with Andy, the legend lives on through these platforms.

Huh… when I looked at that gun on the G&D website it showed $750.
I must have done something wrong… Bill, I have no connection to G&D other than my good friendship, like so many others have, with Josh. .

You are not the first one to do that!! Also, I lost out on an SBT a couple years ago because the bidding started at 9:00 am...on the east coast! Me, on Central time. Sheesh!

Missed my opportunity at Poulins today, was in transit and eying a Parker SBT “upgraded” to an “A1” special. Had gold setters, pheasant, geese and Parker Brothers script. Also… a setters head carved into the buttstock. So wrong but I wanted it so bad, lol. After watching the bidding these past couple days, I figured it might go for crazy money. I was wrong. I pulled into a parking lot a couple of lots before this was offered. I had apparently switched cell towers or something as I was scrambling to re log in to bid, only seeing it pass before my eyes for $3250. Within my target range, dammit. Saved by the gavel? Dunno. But if one of you guys bought it and aren’t satisfied….i know a guy.

There were 3 28 gauges in the G&D auction in a row that seemed great deals to me.
