Surprisingly nice. Low to mid 80’s and a breeze.

Well it was a heck of run, until it wasn’t. Between the Champion of Champions event on Wednesday and the Singles Championship on Thursday, I went 25-25-24-24-25-25-24-25-24-25-25-21. We shot the last box late in the day and by the time I got to post 5, I was having trouble with a capital “T” picking up the targets. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted and the Parker SA held up her end of the bargain. Doubles and handicap today.

That's still very impressive John. I doubt I'll ever get to go there (not to shoot) but just to see what it looks like. Then again I might compare it to Vandalia which wouldn't be right. Just too far to travel at my age.

If you can imagine a trap line three miles long it’s still beyond belief. Stan they have a Nostalgia Shoot that would be a great event for any Parker officianado to participate in. Or if you would just like to go and shoot at the Grand American it is a very accommodating venue. All shooters are welcome whether they be competitive like John or “Gentlemen Shooters” (to quote Charlie Herzog) like me. It’s a great experience.

The Nostalgia Shoot is what kind of intrigued me, not that I expect to give anyone any competition, I would just love to see the event and shoot a little,

One of these years,
Stan

While at the Grand, someone on my squad asked me about my Parker SBT and commented that you only saw them in the Nostalgia Shoot. I told him every event was a Nostalgia shoot for me.

Amen to that! Nothing like making history with history.

True dat. If it wasn't for my old SBT's I probably wouldn't even be shooting trap!
