This could have been my grandfather-in-law's Grand American gun. He won (don't know if he was the overall champion or just won a category) in either the 1950's or 60's. My wife's uncle and father both also participated. We believe this gun may have belonged to her grandfather, and may have been the gun he used. The other he owned is an SC built in Ilion after 1934.
I've joined the PGCA and I'm planning to order a letter on this gun. Coincidentially, my son-in-law was born and raised in Ilion!
