Scott - the barrels are 30" measured end to end with the action broke open. The weight is in the 6 lb range. (give or take a few ounces)

A couple of more pics.

Thanks for the comments, The same appraiser really tore down my Winchester 1892 (a Real Fine Gun ) 32-20 caliber and two Colt SA's in the same . Perhaps he thought I was looking to sell them cheap beings I was in Las Vegas.

A PGCA letter may tell you whether the gun originally came from Shoverling Daly and Gales, as is marked on your case. An NH grade with six pound barrels is a great gun to shoot and going through a phase of popularity right now. The bad screws and damaged trigger plate are not a fatal flaw, can be repaired by a talented gunsmith, as can the wood damage. In addition, your serial number is a "palindrome", something only strange people find interesting. I have palindrome guns that I find interesting, like my Model 42 Winchester Skeet Grade #787. They are not easy to find.

My 3-frame NH-Grade 10-gauge is a year newer and doesn't have a "fishtail" top-lever. My barrels are weight stamped 5 9.
