Answer is PROBABLY: That price may be on the high side, and, the good fellows here see a lot of guns, and have a world of experience. A 16 gauge 30" VHE with 30% case colors is most likely worth that, but there are so, so many things that can hurt value, none of the fellows on here would stick his neck out to say "Yea or Nay."
If you can look at the gun, check for dings, dents in the barrels; cracks in the wood, make sure the ribs are not loose, that the gun is "on face."
Experienced guys like Bruce Day can see things in 10 seconds that a novice may not notice until he has owned the gun for a year. (Apologies to Bruce for using his name.)
If you can't get pictures, it's a tough call. But, part of the adventure of buying a Parker.
