Well there were several variations of the dogs head buttplate that were made over the years. There is a recent post that discusses this topic. Most were curved and some had spurs on the top. One that was curved and without a spur would go right on an original trojan with just minor fitting.
You mentioned a "flat" dogshead plate though. I am not sure if Parker offered a truely flat plate. and if they did, it wouldn't have been able to be fitted to the trojans original curved butt. So either your trojans butt has been cut, or your description of your current plate being flat is incorrect.
I only ask because a replacement trojan plate will be curved and will need a bit of wood working to get it to fit on your gun if it has been cut.
Another option for you if the gun has in fact been cut flat and you just want the correct "style" plate, I would suggest using an LC Smith or Fox style buttplate. Those are flat and are similar in design to the Trojan plates.
