Yes, that was the way Remington manufactured the rib on the Parkers they produced.
Where the top ribs remaining in stock at the time of DuPont - Remington takeover had Parker Bros., Makers, etc. roll-stamped on them, these soon ran out and new ribs had to be made. Remington was not allowed by the terms of the buyout to produce anything with the Parker Bros. logo so it was eliminated from the ribs they produced as well as all other parts they manufactured at Remington which previously had "Parker Bros." on them.
