Default Say hello to Olive

Got this little gem 3 weeks ago from October Setters. Gotta say, Lisa is a class act all the way. Olive is proving to have more energy than me and is quite spunky to say the least. She is in our office every day greeting patients and being heavily loved and socialized.

Thank you Rick. I came into work one day without her and the women I have working for me told me it was employee abuse leaving her home so my son had to drop her off. She's so wonderful with everyone and calm for a pup until about 2am hahahahha.

Darn Andy, she is a real sweetie. I prefer female setters. Hope your back is doing better and you can get a lot of time in the woods this fall. I had an opportunity to go to Montana for sharptails, but my wife always wants to go to Hilton Head in September, and screws that up. Going to the UP for a at least 3+ weeks leaving around Oct 15 until Nov 7.
I was not going to renew my optometry license when it expires in Dec, but now have decided to do it 1 more time for 2 years. I have been binge taking CE on line, esp on rainy days. I needed 50 hours, and am now up to 45.
Keep posting pictures of that little gal, Im sure she will grow up to be a fine lady.

Hi Harold thanks for the kind words. My back...ugh. After a lot of PT and and steroid injection I continue to lose function so I'm scheduling the laminectomy soon. I will most likely lose all of grouse season and being upset won't fix that. I'll have to concentrate on the later part of the season and perhaps a few road trips south with Raisin for quail will help me heal. I tried my best to avoid surgery but it just ain't working. Thanks for asking and I agree, female setter pups come with a dose of magic dust.

Andy, I hope your back issues clear up sooner than later. That little cutie will help. Puppies are great medicine.

An end of January Kansas quail hunt could be a good treatment.

Our best to you.

In response to John and Garry. Olive is out of Birch and Lacy so she has a lot of the Icelandic male Morri in her. Garry a Kansas quail hunt sounds like good medicine indeed! End of January here is likely to be like the moon with not much going on and I am hopefully on the mend.
