I was at the Northern for 3 of the 4 days and it was an excellent event. Top Shelf and growing every year! Perfect weather all 4 days and it was nice to see and talk with many friends and to meet new ones. I'm recovering from knee surgery and wasn't stable enough to shoot. I also moved some stuff I no longer need, bought more stuff I don't really need, and came away with two great 22 rifles to boot! Also saw a friend get a great 410 SxS.

The entire 4 days was IMO the event not to be missed. Kudos to Mike,Tad and Glenn as there were no major trap malfunctions and there were a lot of traps in use. And the Friday night feed. What can I say? If you walked away hungry it was your fault. Thanks to Mike, Sam, Tad, Glenn and Morgan and all the trappers for a great event.

I was there for 2 days, Mike and team did a great job. Weather was about as good as it could be. Sold some stuff and of course bought some too.

That was such a great event Mike! I shot Thursday afternoon and all day Friday. I had some family commitments at home so left first thing Saturday morning.

I enjoyed every second there. The various courses and targets were great. Very friendly trappers and staff. This was my first time shooting there, but I can't wait to go back. It was definitely worth the drive!

It was nice to see several of PGCA members. Somehow, I missed Daryl, I think I must have been too busy shooting! It is always so nice to catch up with everyone.

I also picked up an 8 gauge PH at the event and just love it. A #6 frame, 36" twist barrels and weighing at 13 lbs. Actually, it felt a little "whippy" compared to my 16 lbs. TA hammer gun. I shot black powder out of the hammer gun and smokeless 1 1/2oz, loads out of the PH. Looking forward to more 8 gauge shoots.

I will see you all there again next year!
Jay
