Jack: Do your barrels have the 'LLH' mark just ahead of the flats? LLH was the mark of Laurent Lochet-Habran, a Belgian barrel maker. Sanderson Steel is reported to have purchased barrels from LLH, and their mark has also been found on Fox, Ithaca, Lefever, Baker, and Hunter Arms Fulton and "Ranger" for Sears guns.

Drew , yes there is the LLH stamp on both barrels . Is this significant ? What does this mean . Thanks for what ever info you can give . Thanks

Thanks Jack. It's a common finding on "Armor," "London," and occasionally "Nitro" steel barrels, but the first time I've seen that mark on a LRWF.

Baker guns with 'LLH' may be marked "Nitro Rolled Steel" and "Fluid Temper Steel."

BTW: The three-lobed crown over a 'D' mark of Jean-Baptiste Delcour-Dupont of Nessonvaux is also found on Smith, A.H. Fox, Lefever, and Ithaca NID and Lefever Nitro Special A Grades
