Take a look at page 118. The patented W. & C. Scott "Gas Check System" is reported to appear on other guns bearing British names and the Grade-6 Parker pictured below (not the gun in the DGJ article) is the only Parker I've ever seen with this feature. This Parker was owned by a very well-connected shooter of the day and quite possibly may have visited England and had this done there as there is no mention in the PGCA Research Letter of this modification.
