Andrew, according to the Serialization book, 197288 is a VH 16 gauge with a capped pistol grip and 28 inch barrels. It was made in 1922 and there are records available on your gun. PGCA members get a substantial break on the cost of a research letter (created from looking at the original records for your gun). Membership is well worth the investment, especially now that you have one Parker and will very likely be getting another (hey, it happens!  )
