Just looking at the grip caps on my guns and noticed that the small size has a period or comma after MERIDEN but the large size doesn't?!?

The one on my 00-frame VHE appears to have a period there where it should be a comma. Parker Bros. were always very good at proper punctuation in their roll stamps for rib legends and elsewhere if punctuation was expected for proper English. .

Another real trivia grip cap item. Did they make a small size PARKER / ILION, N.Y. grip cap? In another thread about 20-gauge 241779 I noticed it has a PARKER BROS. / MERIDEN. CONN. grip cap.
