On of the funnier bear encounters I've had occurred a few years ago. My neighbor likes his bird feeders and refuses to take them in when he should. One day I was driving home and about a quarter mile from my neighbors house when I encountered a bear walking down the middle of the road. He had in his mouth by the wire handle one of my neighbors feeders. Just casually walking along as if he was carrying his lunch box. Well, maybe he was.
