Have him send it back to Ruger. I have a Red Label(the Woodside model) that I sent back to Ruger because both barrels were not firing(more accurately the second barrel after first shot). I also had them change the safety from automatic to manual. I don't remember being charged. They were fairly quick about it as well.
The gun works great now, but I don't shoot it much due to my Parker addiction
