I walked out with mine. But he did say doing a Damascus barrel would be about 6 months

Here are two he did for me a while back. Within reason, his work is worth the wait.

I am sure there are many fine gunsmiths out there. But there are certain things I would only send to Brad. I know it takes time to do good work. I have a smith in Connecticut that is the same way.
Don't get hung up on turnaround time. Think of it as Christmas when it arrives.
Most of us have plenty or too many guns to shoot in the meantime.
Just chill.
