I've also owned a Kettner drilling. 16 x 16 x 9.3 x 72r. It too had the horn trigger guard. These trigger guards are quite attractive and gracefully shaped but rather thick for added strength yet are still a bit fragile and subject to insects and shrinkage. I see that yours has a few insect holes and is cracked near the screw behind the trigger bow. All this can be fixed and filled with an epoxy like Acroglas.
I really like the lines of your gun and the long 30"? barrels. Please post more pictures when the gun arrives! David.
