Forend looks considerably darker than the butt. I'd guess a restock. Can't imagine why it wouldn't have drop points - who would intentionally do that to a grade 3??. The muzzle shot is inconclusive but it does look like there's too much space between the bores for the bbls to be touching. I have a 26" GHE damascus 12ga that letters at 26", has bbls that don't touch, v short chokes and looks to have clearly been cut, seemingly by the factory.
