Harry, that double flinter is by W.H. Wilson, London. I don't believe he was actually a maker but rather a retailer. However, Alexander Wilson, who had his shop in the same building was a gunmaker and worked a long time for Joe Manton. The gun is remarkable in many ways. Its in original condition and not far from mint, though it was shot a little. It has very modern stock dimensions and weight. And it has about all the bells and whistles the best flinters had. If this weren't the Parker site I'd post photos but.......send me your e-mail address and I'll send some to you.

Bruce, you'd enjoy the shoot.......and it sure isn't too far for you to travel. Now, it also appears that Dennis Potter's shotgun class at Trinidad is planning their SC shoot at the Whittington June 30 in the afternoon.......humm.....
