Thanks Eric,
I got that information already, and realize it was a $65 grade...

I was looking for some actual history on the people associated with the presentation of the gun in 1875... Thought perhaps Todd, or the previous owner Allan Swanson, could share some background on the gun and the specifics related to the original presentation...

Also, Still interested in hearing from anyone else that may have ever seen, or owns a hammer gun with a similar large presentation shield in the right side of the stock.

My thanks to Larry Frey for sharing some photos of another presentation gun with a similar shield... And also, my thanks to Todd Kaltenbach & Allan Swanson for their help in keeping me on the right track with my research...
